What could move stocks next
Scheduled events for the next 6 months: Fed meetings and economic reports, earnings, FDA decisions and drug trials, tech keynotes, and company events. Surprise news isn't here; that shows up on Big movers.
“Trial ends” is the date a late-stage drug trial finishes collecting data. Results usually come 1 to 4 months later, and the date often slips. Hover a ticker for the company and disease; bold ones are small companies where one result can move the whole stock. ▶ next to an earnings ticker opens the company's call.
What moved, last two weeks
Flagged when a stock moved at least 3 times as much as on a normal day, or the S&P 500 moved 2.5 times as much. For earnings we count the report day or the next day, whichever moved more, since companies report before the open or after the close.
